
Ingredients:
1 tsp onion powder 2 1/2 cups chicken broth 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1 fresh parsley 1 cup white rice
1 tsp black pepper 1/2 cup parmesan
1 1/2 tsp powdered garlic 2 tbsp all-purpose flour 2 tbsp olive oil 1 1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 tsp thyme 1 tsp paprika 2 tbsp butter
Directions:
- season the chicken breast with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and cook chicken for 5-6 minutes or until fully cooked. remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Add flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly to form a roux. gradually whisk in broth then add garlic powder and thyme. bring mixture to a simmer and cook until sauce thickens to desired consistency. stir in the cheddar and parmesan until melted and smooth.
- add the cooked chicken to the skillet. serve chicken and sauce over cooked rice and garnish with parsley.
